Patricia “Pat” Naffin, age 66 of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2021.

Pat was born on September 13, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Ann Rutkowski. She attended Allen Park High School, class of 1972. She later went on to graduate from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan, beginning a 25-year career as a dedicated Registered Nurse.

Pat had an adventuring spirit and loved to travel, especially with her husband Mike by her side. Some of her favorite trips were to France and Italy, but the place she treasured most was North Carolina, which became their home away from home. They loved it there so much that they eventually relocated there in 2008. Pat was an avid gardener and animal-lover. She also enjoyed hiking, reading, and volunteering for many organizations.

Pat was the beloved wife of the late Mike Naffin for 14 years. Loving mother of Christopher (Erica) DeSimone and cherished grandmother of Everett and Camilla. Dearest sister of Luanne (Jeff) Grabiel, Dan (Nancy) and Bob (Darcy) Rutkowski. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
