Gerald “Jerry” Cullen, age 85 of Farmington Hills, passed away March 19, 2022. He was born in Detroit on September 17, 1936 to James and Virginia Cullen.

Jerry graduated from Lawrence Technological University and was a proud United States Army veteran. He married the love of his life, Donna Jo, and continued to shower his bride and best friend with his endless love for 60 wonderful years. The two were blessed with four children, all of whom graduated from Michigan State University. Jerry’s “Spartan pride” never faded, and he remained an avid fan of their sports teams. Being an athlete himself, Jerry especially loved the game of golf, both as a participant and a spectator. He was also a long-time and faithful parishioner of St. Fabian Catholic Church.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Donna Jo for 60 years. Loving father of Treacy (Andrew) Ruggirello, Brigid Cullen, Lesley (Nishan) Beylerian, and the late Patrick Cullen. Proud grandfather of Brendan Unger, Connor Unger and Charlotte Beylerian. Dear brother of John (Joy) Cullen, Michael (Margaret) Cullen, the late Virginia Damiani, the late Richard Cullen and the late James Cullen.

A Memorial Mass for Jerry will be held on Monday, March 28th, at 11:00 a.m. with gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jerry’s name are appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association.
