Calvin Pratt Cohoon, age 78 of Farmington Hills, passed away December 6, 2022.

A true Christian man, Pratt was always there to help anyone in need. He was a longtime resident of The Baptist Manor – Alpha Building, where he diligently maintained their library. He also enjoyed reading and writing, especially genealogy, and baking. Above all else, Pratt was deeply devoted to his faith. He was parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and attended Mass daily at the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament.

Pratt was predeceased by his sister, Janet 'Jan' Salter and was a dear friend to so many, especially Sherri Belobradich, Emanuela Decenso, Mary Reading, Sue Dengiz, Julie Solomon, Pearl Moss, and Bette Austin.

A Memorial Mass for Mr. Cohoon will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament,  29575 Middlebelt Rd., Farmington Hills. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Center at Baptist Manor, 30251 W. 13 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
