Arnold L. “Nick” Roberts, age 89 of Farmington Hills, passed away January 12, 2023. He was born October 28, 1933 in Lima, Ohio to Roland and Zetta Roberts.

Nick proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He had a true passion for hunting, and along with his best friend, Bob Bolam, hunted every fall for over 70 years. In the years following his retirement as a property appraiser, the majority of Nick’s free time was spent reading. He had thousand of books and especially loved reading anything history related. Above all else, Nick was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his dear family.

Nick was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Anne Roberts. Loving father of Stephen (Kathy) Barry, Kenneth (Susan) Barry, Nancy (Michael) Tarpey, Merry and Charles Dietzel. Proud grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of 19, and great-great-grandfather of 4.

Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be held on Thursday, January 26th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state on Friday, January 27th, from 10:30 a.m., until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Mr. Roberts will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
