William John Devanney, age 94, passed away January 25, 2023. He was born July 21, 1928 in Port Chester, NY to William Ernest and Marie Burnes Devanney.

William was a graduate of the University of Detroit, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1958. He was co-owner of Meier Metal Servicenters of Hazel Park, MI, before his retirement as Vice Chairman in 1999.

William is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clare Marie Larin Devanney; their five children, William Larin (Wen) Devanney of Cupertino, CA, Mary Devanney (Scott) Petersen of Orlando, FL, David Burnes (Susan) Devanney of West Bloomfield, MI, Thomas Ryan Devanney of New York City, and Michael Sears (Amy) Devanney of Holland, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
