Marie Jeannine Gundle

September 28, 1936 - May 8, 2023

Jeannine (Bibeau) Gundle, age 86, died peacefully on May 8, 2023, in the Farmington Hills, Michigan area with loving family at her side.

Jeannine loved spending time with her 7 daughters and their families. She was a devout Catholic and an exceptionally generous person, as she contributed her time and money to multiple charities. As an avid gardener, Jeannine took great pride in her work with the Hill and Dale Garden Club, where for years she helped students with special needs through garden therapy projects. Additionally, she was an important benefactor to the Rose Hill Center for Mental Health, where the "Gundle Center" is named in honor of the family's support.

Jeannine lived independently for over 20 years after the death of her beloved husband, Donald, and is survived by her children Donna (Dennis) Krieg; Deanne (David) Orlando; Doreen (Gary) Bayliff; Demarie Anderson, Daria (Patrick) Grinenko; Denise (Jim) White; and Delaura Baldwin. She is also survived by her siblings Lucille Michael; Paul (Jane) Bibeau; and Diane (Dennis) Gaydek. She has left an enduring family legacy through 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way. She is also survived by dozens of cousins, nieces, and nephews from the U.S. and Canada.

Visitation for Jeannine will be held Sunday, May 14th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Monday, May 15th, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, with a luncheon immediately following at the church social hall. Following the luncheon, Jeannine will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
