Thomas H. Grzeskowiak, age 79 of Canton, passed away May 14, 2023.

Tom was born on January 23, 1944, in St. Paul, Minnesota to John and Marie Grzeskowiak. He received his degree from St. Cloud State College, St. Cloud, Minnesota, in 1967.

Tom’s Catholic faith was instrumental each day and he served the Catholic church as an usher and the legacy he will leave is his kindness, ability to love unconditionally, sense of humor, and selflessness. His priority was always his family and providing guidance to his daughters. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, family fishing trips, challenging puzzles and games, and occasional visits to the casino. He especially loved being a crossing guard at Hoben Elementary School.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, Rose; his daughters, Tracy (Ted) Rockett, Tricia (Chuck) Micallef, and Cheryl (Rob) Weiland; his 7 beloved grandchildren, Rachel, Joseph, Vivian, Austin, Owen, Blake, and Clarke; his sisters-in-law, Annette, and Mary; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Marie Grzeskowiak; his brothers, Harold, Gerald, and John; and his daughter, Mary (Brian) Bagwell.

Family will receive friends Thursday, May 18th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. He will lie in state on Friday, May 19th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton. Immediately following the Funeral Mass, Thomas will be laid to rest in Knollwood Memorial Park, 1299 Ridge Rd. N, Canton.
