In the early hours of May 14, 2024, devoted wife and beloved mother Anne Marie DiCicco Lott of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her 91st year of life—touching the hearts of many and leaving behind a void her family can never fill. Anne Marie was born in Detroit on September 4, 1932, to Albert and Antonette DiCicco. She attended Mary Grove College and paid her way working in the bookstore at JL Hudsons and a receptionist at a dental office before marrying the love of her life, Roland Lott. They were married for 40 years and had five children. She volunteered for endless hours as a Girl Scout leader, room mother and PTA President. She loved to spoil her 10 grandchildren with gifts and spend quality time with them playing a round of her favorite card game, "Kings in the Corner." Not a special occasion went by without her sending a handwritten card to each of them, nor to the huge circle of friends and family that she had. Her hobbies included gardening (she tended to an extensive garden each year when she was younger), practicing her faith, and her love for literature. She was an avid reader who wanted nothing more than to sit in the sun with a good book. She also loved to take vacations up north with her family and enjoyed watching the tranquil waters of Lake Michigan. Anne Marie was a devout Catholic and a very active, giving member of her Parish, Prince of Peace (West Bloomfield). Her church friends, many of whom she met at “The Young and the Rest of Us”, became lasting friendships and were extremely important to her. Those fortunate enough to have known Anne Marie loved her compassionate spirit, always describing her as the most beautiful, kind, funny, and strong woman. Anne Marie is survived by her children, Anthony (Anne) Lott, Steven (Sarah) Lott, Roanne Lott (Joseph Roehrig), Cheryl (Augustine) Clarke, and Andrea (Dan) Haas, grandchildren Dominique Roehrig, Stefan Lott, Olivia Clarke, Nathan Roehrig, Isabella Clarke, Amielia Haas, Reagan Haas, Nikolas Lott, Alexandria Lott and Lincoln Haas, and her nieces Doneen Glass, Albertina Lize, Antonia Cowper, Lisa Frank, Valerie Sterling and Luciana Murley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert DiCicco and Antonette DiCicco-Cirelli, her sister Rose Mary DiStefano, her brother Louis Carmen Cirelli, Jr., and her husband Roland Charles Lott. Visitation for Anne Marie will be held Sunday, May 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Monday, May 20th, from10:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield. Anne Marie will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial donations in Anne Marie’s name may be directed to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
