Catherine M. Lewis, age 98, passed away November 25, 2025. She was born November 9, 1927 in Sagamore, Pennsylvania, to George and Catherine Slovinsky.

Making her way to Ohio, Catherine met Clarence Raymond Lewis, where the two married shortly after and began their life together. Eventually moving the family to Michigan, Catherine worked in retail. She also volunteered her time at St. James Catholic Church, especially helping during their funeral luncheons.

Whether at work, home or out and about, Catherine remained active. She loved her long daily walks outside and gardening. In the home, she relaxed by crocheting, reading a good book, or baking for family and friends. She looked forward to seeing her grandchildren and helping them in any capacity she could.

Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Raymond. Loving mother of Sandra (William) Wolter, Michael (the late Lilian) Lewis, the late Danny Lewis and the late Carla Lewis. Dear grandmother of Brian, James, Christina, Lauren and Danny. Great-grandmother of Mason, Norah, Zach and Leilani.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at 12:00 p.m., with gathering beginning at 11:00 a.m., at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
