Elaine Rosati (nee Kellerman), born August 12, 1927, died December 9, 2025. Elaine was married to Anthony Domenick Rosati (July 17, 1926-September 14, 2011), for 61 years. After raising four children, Elaine revived her career, first as a Social Worker (MSW, the University of Michigan), and later, as an attorney (J.D., Detroit College of Law, now Michigan State University School of Law). Handling Court appointed cases representing the infirm and vulnerable, she practiced law after receiving her law degree at age 60 until her retirement at age 83. Her love, respect, and appreciation of all people was reflected in her work, as well as in her devotion to her family. She is survived by her four children, Michael, Carol, Connie, and Claire Rosati, as well as her six grandchildren Jeffrey Gardner, Kelsey (Gardner) Trondle, Mariel (Rosati) Benjamin, Jillian (Rosati) Malm, Dylan Feley, and Dean Feley, and six great grandchildren Joseph Jonathon (JJ) Trondle, Charlotte Trondle, Emmett Benjamin, Theo Benjamin, Olivia Malm, and Tyler Malm, Jr. Donations in her honor can be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, the University of Michigan School of Social Work, the Michigan State University School of Law, Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization for the Advancement of Women.Elaine Rosati
