When he comes to mind you just can't help but have a smile on your face. He was a fun-loving guy and made the best spaghetti in town. Our deepest sympathy to his children and to Sue. You two made the best couple. We had so many laughs and fun times at the lake; you both lit up the room. We will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Family, Times like these are never easy for family and friends alike. I worked at IBM during many of the same years that Joe worked there. I always enjoyed when Joe would come to assist a fellow employee. He was a good person and will be missed. I send my deepest condolences and will always remember...RIP, Joe.

Whenever I thought about Joe, all I saw was the twinkle in his blue eyes, a big smile and then his great laugh. This guy was always laughing and had a story for every subject. I never met anyone who knew so much, he had an answer for every question. Joe was a wonderful friend to all who knew him, he always made you feel like you were so special. Well Joe, you were the special one. Susan was so lucky that you came into her life when you did. You were so right for each other, your love for her showed in so many ways. You were so talented and yet you were the first one to critique your work, a sign of being a perfectionist. You never did anything half assed! You were blessed in your life, with two beautiful daughters, two beautiful grandsons and two very special women. You will be missed my friend, it'lL never be the same without you. Sue, Diane, Denise and families All my sympathies on your loss of Joe. I know he will lovingly be watching over all of you because his caring for others was the greatest part of the man I knew. When my husband wanted to give up in 2003, Joe wouldn't hear of it and helped me to motivate him and get him back on a better emotional track. I know without a doubt that his caring contributed in keeping my late husband here with our family longer. So sad to hear the passing of Joe. He was such a good friend and neighbor to my Dad (Phil VanDuyn) and Janie in Lakeland Fl. Such a super kind and friendly man. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to the family during this difficult time.
