Condolence

My sympathy to your family. It is not easy to lose a loved one in death. The pain of the loss can be overwhelming. May God's word found at Isaiah 25:8 bring you and your family comfort.

Constance D.

Dear Akouri family, I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is so hard to deal with, especially when it's your spouse or parent. When I lost my mom, the grief was overwhelming at times. Something that brought me a lot of comfort was the promise from our loving Heavenly Father to resurrect our loved ones in the near future (John 5:28,29). I hope this helps you in some small way to endure your sorrow.

In regularly working with destitute and impoverished people, I have learned that it is an absolute privilege and a great blessing to have someone in your life who loves you unconditionally and beyond question. To everyone whose life was lovingly impacted by the life of Sylvia Akouri, I pray you will always remember and cherish the certainty of her adoration and acceptance of you. The more fully you understand that love is not an obligation but a choice, I hope you will purpose to immortalize her memory on earth by ensuring that each of your successive generations learns of her best qualities and attributes. Most of all, I pray that the void that her passing has left in your lives will quickly be filled with a greater appreciation and devotion for on another. Until you meet Sylvia Akouri again in eternity, please teach as many as will listen the wonderful life lessons that she taught each of you.

As an employee of Farmington Public Schools, I want to express my condolences to your family on your loss. Sylvia's many years of dedication to Farmington Public Schools must have had a huge impact on many students. During this very difficult time, please find comfort and hope in what the Bible says at Acts 24:15 which states " There is going to be resurrection".

I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is indeed distressing. Many people have found the Bible to be a reliable source of comfort and hope. 2 Corinthians 1:3&4 say's "The God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial."
