Connie and I are deeply saddened by Ernie's passing. He was a great mentor and friend to me and I will miss him dearly. I enjoyed talking with him always and spending a lunch hour with him skating at the Livonia ice rink and listening to him talk about life and our past projects we worked on together. Our sincere sympathies to all of you in the family and our best to all of you in this time of sorrow.

I have been blessed to have great mentors and teachers in my life and career. Mr. Orchard is right up there at the top. It helped that we were from the same geographical area and had things in common. Mr. Orchard has been a great influence on my life and I am thankful every day for that. My condolences to the Orchard Family as you go through these times. Peace and Prayers.

Peggy, I am so sorry to read of your Dad's passing. What a beautifully written tribute to him. I am sure he is at peace with the Lord.
