Cousin Doreen will always be remembered for her kindness and considerate nature. I loved to hear the stories of Grandma Jo and other family stories. As the custom of sending Christmas cards waned, we always knew that Doreen's whimsical card would be making its way to us. She will be missed.

We love you Doreen. You will be sincerely missed always, but especially during the holidays. I know you are smiling down on our new son, Charlie. My cousin Doreen was an intelligent, independent woman absolutely dedicated to family. She loved to travel & visit friends, particularly in England & Boston MA. So many memories, especially Haloween nights trick-or-treating in Dearborn, & many summer gatherings at our home in the country. Condolences especially to Dan & Margy, & to all who loved.

My cousin, Doreen, and I walked different paths as we grew older, but we shared a lifetime of family memories. Summers spent swimming and picnicking at my parents' house in the country, trick-or-treating on Halloween at her parents' home in the city, Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays and other occasions that brought so many cousins together. I believe that she's taken her seat at the large table beyond, joining a boisterous and loving group that has gone before her, eating, laughing, and playing cards. Peace to you, dear cousin.
