Condolence

My deepest condolences to Karen and the family... Steve was always a great friend to me... and I am very grateful to have had him as a friend... I met Steve at my first real job at Henning & Cheadle and Automated Marketing Systems AMS back in the '70s... we hit it off right away cuz we both like sports... we played baseball football and basketball on company teams... and he introduced me to hockey and horse racing... I remember the first horse he gave me a tip on was a horse named Adios Lad... and as luck would have it he ended up coming in last... oh well Adios Money... but we laughed about that first bet for the longest time... Steve was a good ball player in all the sports and I don't think I ever beat him in golf... and we even took disco lessons together...what a riot that was... but Steve was also a good source of advice on just about anything... he was a perfect role model who really loved his kids and his wife... I'm so sorry to have lost him as a friend... and again my condolences to his wife and family... may God bless him and May he rest in peace forever in Heaven. Bob Mc

Dear Karen, Philip and Stephen, We were so very saddened, (devastated actually) to hear about Steve. We knew Steve had been ill and on the prayer list (but without details) as we have access to the bulletins and continue on email. It is with great fondness we recall sitting through all the CYO games, our parking lot chats along with the coffee and donut Sunday visits. We are so very sorry that we cannot attend visitation/service as we had planned (Covid hit us on Tuesday). You are a wonderful family and I pray God gives all the strength and grace needed in the future days ahead. May God bless you all and may Steve through God's mercy Rest In Peace. Most fondly with love and prayers--aRon, Cindy, Alex, and Ben Brown (We sold our house October 2021 and moved to a condo in the downtown Plymouth area. We are now members of Saint John Neumann parish in Canton)

Our families spent many holidays and summers together. Our childhood linked because our Dads and Moms were friends. Rest in peace Steve.

On behalf of the Capuchin brothers I offer my deepest sympathies on the passing of Steve. It is truly humbling to receive memorial donations in honor of his life. Please be assured of the brother's prayers for the entire Dowhan family during this great time of grief. May perpetual light shine upon Steve.

I did not know Mr. Dowhan. I am impressed by his hole in one, and 300 game. May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.
