I Remember...

I knew Joe for only a short time, a few months last summer, and enjoyed playing golf with him as he showed me around the Florida golf courses. Joe made an impression with his positive attitude and he was a good neighbor. Sorry to hear I won't see him again, Rest In Peace Joe.

I promise to water your plant every day. Glad I didn't have to beat you. I love you and will miss you every day

We remember your visit to our home in Port St Lucie and the wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches Joe made us in my kitchen. That was a wonderful memorable visit and we think of you both often.

Joe was coworker and friend at IBM. We also had a few good times together after work. You will be in my prayers Joe.

I will never forget how hard joe worked at putting a smile on my late husbands face back in 2003 in the months following his 2nd open heart surgery. Tom was having trouble getting back on his feet physically and emotionally and needed that extra support and comical touch that joe was eager to provide. Joe convinced him that together they now had time to remodel our master bath! Joe assured tom he would do the heavy lifting and all tom needed to do was supervise and keep the caulking gun filled and the plumbers putty handy! There laughter echoed night after night in our garage as supervisor and laborer teased each other on the fine points of remodeling. My fondest memory of this project was seeing the two of them in the middle of our garage floor - one sitting on the old removed toilet the other sitting in the old used bathtub they had to cut in two to remove. They were smoking and toasting each other's great genius with a whole lot of "atta boys " and a glass of CC. Im smiling now over the two of them seeing each other again. Im guessing they're playing a rowdy game of golf and I'll bet they're still laughing on how a recip saw got that old tub out of the house when I wouldn't let them remove the back wall of the bathroom which also was the entire back wall of our garage!!
