My mother has told me a lot about you when I was a little girl. I remember the first time I met you in person was during Herbert's funeral at Grandma's house. Mei kou ho'mana'o'ana mau loa. In Hawaiian this means(May your memory be eternal). Aloha o kako (until we meet again.) Netti
Memories
As sibling growing up in Mississippi and Michigan, I always admired your easy smile and happy attitude toward me as your little sister.
You had a head full of curly wavy hair and hazel eyes which attracted the eyes of a lot of young girls at our neighborhood.
As adults, our lives changed quite a bit which me living in Hawaii with my family and you living in Michigan with your family.
fortunately, we always shared a bond of love, trust and understanding toward each other.
So, rest in peace my dear brother, one day we shall meet again.
AMEN!
