Dear Linda & Karen, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I just found out yesterday - 12/24. Your Dad & my Mom were 1st cousins. My Mom was Olga Manfredi Sakmar. Your Grandfather, Nicola, was my Mom's Uncle & my Great Uncle. Nicola's baby sister, Mary Esther Ruffino Manfredi, was my Grandmother & your Great Aunt. Your Dad, my Mom, & Emma Allegrina Savage (another 1st cousin of your Dad's) looked alike - like a brother & his sister's. And, when I met you both at a Wedding, I felt like Linda & I looked like twin sisters; and Karen & my baby sister, Margaret, looked like twin sisters, at that time. It was uncanny. Again, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know how much he loved you both.
