I Remember...

Barb was one of the sweetest persons I've every know. She doted on her Grandchildren loving to spend time in their company from little on up. She patiently tried to improve my cooking (didn't help), for years, we would visit her weekly, bring our laundry, she would cook for us, we eventually traded in bringing the laundry to bringing her grandchildren to the party, always a fun trip. When she moved to Holland, MI our trips had to change to monthly, but that just made them all the more special. I'll never forgot how she welcomed me into the family and crocheted beautiful flower favors with candy almonds in the leaves. At Christmas there were her thoughtful presents that she always felt 'could have been better' (Barb - they were always perfect). And even after Marc and I parted ways, she would still send me a lovely birthday card every year, I will always treasure what turned out to be my last card, "Love as always, Barb". I will always keep you in my heart Barb, rest in everlasting peace.
