I Remember...

Lou was a good man and a dependable neighbor at any hour. Lou will be missed by many of us at the "Winds".

Don & Donna Harris

I and many employees/customers at Canton Meijer knew Louie for several years. Louie rarely missed a day coming into the Meijer cafe, every morning at around 9:30. Did not matter the day or weather. He was always the first of a small group of customers and employees to sit, talk and drink coffee. We had great talks for several years. Louie was a fun guy to converse with, on everything.... politics, sports, entertainment, weather, current events,family..you name it, Louie would talk about it. If asked by someone that he knew, who happened to walk by the table,(usually someone from his health club) "What are you doing here?" Louie would always respond "We are solving the world's problems." :) Indeed we did. My day and many others were better due to Louie's daily companionship and friendship. Thank you for that Louie. You will greatly missed. Dario Straccia

Seeing Lou almost everyday for the past 15 years at the Summit and "chatting" about the things going on around Canton. We met during our lunchtime workouts years ago and have been friends since. Lou always had a smile on his face and showed a true passion for life and helping our youth. He always talked about his children and grandchildren and how proud he was of everyone. I am saddened to hear of the loss and will miss seeing him at the gym every day. My sincere regrets to the family.
