Uncle Ray was my favorite uncle-in-law for so many reasons. He was so very welcoming to me and my sons, he made us feel like one of his own during hunting adventures at his cabin "up-North". He gave Patrick his first opportunity to shoot black-powder, he took us to the best breakfast place in the county, he should us how he tracked animals, how he out-thought his quarry, how to field-dress his kill, most importantly he shared his zeal for life in the outdoors. Ray was bigger than life to me and my family, he will be missed at the reunions but his stories will be long remembered.
