I Remember...

Mike, Sorry to hear about Sheila's passing. The last time we talked, you mentioned she was putting up a good fight. She was always a tough girl. I should know, she put me in my place a few times as we grew up. Her Dad and mine worked together for many years, and our parents were best friends. We grew up from babies together and spent many hours playing together, including her two brothers and my brother and sister. We had so many hours of fun doing sleep-overs, on picnics, going to the lake for the day. Our older brothers would always try to scare Sheila and my sister Joanne, but they would only take so much, then watch out, The two of them were like two wild cats and they could inflict pain on all of us. I remember she once gave me a black eye, I just can't remember why. It's sad that as we get old and busier friends tend to drift apart. She and her brothers will always be a part of my childhood life. Mike, I always enjoyed your updates at the JC dinners, because it kept her in my mind and prayers. I miss her, but Ill remember her when I think back on the days we grew up together. It's comforting knowing she up there with our family members, pulling for us to get up there too. Mike, bless you and the kids, you'll always be in our thoughts and prayers Norm & Nancy Nettie

Mike, that beautiful picture of Sheila is the way I always think of her. Our friendship goes back to our initiation into Jaycees. So many warm memories of the things we did together. You have lost a wonderful woman and soulmate. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
