I Remember...

As a nephew of Don and Durham, I enjoyed the privilege of Al and Millie being at many of the same family events. Always a joy and pleasure to get to know them a little better each visit. Looking forward to many more visits to come, when the Ancient of Days returns to claim His Kingdom. Rest till then Al. Amen

Al was one (3) First Graders that I maintained contact with for 76 years. We shared our love of Country and Bluegrass music - and also the Tigers. Fifty years ago we introduced my wife's best friend Millie to Al. I know his friendship was cherished by all who knew him. R.I.P.

I'll always remember breaking the Harper's window at 6am manny years ago when me and my friends thought it would be a good idea to play waffle ball in their backyard. Mr. Al laughed about it when I thought I would be in big trouble. Now that I reflect, I think there were a lot of instances such as this one. RIP Al! Thanks for always being a great neighbor and someone to talk about the Tigers with.
