I Remember...

Aunt Josie was an amazing Lepri. My dad (her brother) and Josie were close, although it was not always evident, as they worked each other over about everything in life. Bidding her goodbye marks the passing of an era! Love to my cousins and families!

I remember coming into the Cornacchini house so many times, and the feeling of welcoming was the most powerful thing, next to the scent of whatever amazing thing was being made by Mrs. Cornacchini. I often visited, and in high school, I would often walk Renee home, down Code Road to one of the few houses actually on Civic Center. I remember once Renee joked that if I weren't always hungry and if her mom wasn't such a great cook (and baker... she introduced me to cannolis!) I probably would go over as much! I'd have gone just for the smile and hug I got from Mrs. Cornacchini, but the food was amazing! You can never have enough people like Josephine Cornacchini, which makes her passing harder for those who love her.

Aunt Josie was an awesome Aunt! I remember when we were young kids and playing in her massive back yard! She was always so nice to all of us and her cooking was to die for. Ronnie, Robbie, Renee and families....Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Rest In Peace Aunt Josie! Teki and Cecy
