Joanne, We are very sorry for your loss. My family loved when you and Cliff would come to visit Judy. I will always remember when my kids were younger and we were all sitting around the kitchen table listening to stories of when you and Cliff were younger. They were enjoying every word. He has an amazing soul and I'm sure he is in heaven today feeling wonderful.

I remember Uncle Sonny's kindness, laughter and sense of humor. I remember his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. He was like a father to me - a kind, generous, supportive father. I am so very grateful to have spent so much time with him throughout my life. I love you!

I remember from my childhood Uncle Sonny's laughter and his huge smile. He was genuinely a nice person and my favorite uncle growing up.When we would visit or them visiting us uncle sonny always liked listening to music in the evening as my mom did as well. We always had a great time when we all would get together. Nancy Silverstone

When Uncle Sonny would take me home at night after babysitting for my cousins he always played classical music in the car and really seemed to enjoy it. As a teenager I wondered how anyone could like THAT kind of music! And yet over 35 years ago I became a classical music listener and attribute my love for the genre to my godfather and uncle. Another memory is his hearty laugh. When he and Aunt Joanne would come to our home to play cards with my parents on the weekend evenings, I could never fall asleep because of the frequency and volume of his laugh. What a wonderful way to be remembered -- by one's laugh. Lastly, my brother reminded me of the way Uncle Sonny would say, "Holy mackerel dere, Andy!" I love you, Uncle Sonny. Enjoy your heavenly home where we'll all see you again someday. xo

I loved Uncle Sonny's deep laugh, and really liked when he said, "Holy mackerel dere, Andy!"
