We will always remember Mrs. Garner for her ever-present smile. Greg and Jim met at Michigan State and later when we all moved to the Detroit area, we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit his Mom many times during the years we lived in Troy. I think our most vivid memory was at her home after the funeral for Mr. Garner when Greg's aunts threw everyone into the pool. Janis knew how to have a good time and celebrate life.
