I Remember...

Mickey mentored me along the way to the construction career I've had. I was introduced to Mickey at the beginning of construction of Bear Creek Dam when we both worked for Holloway Construction. Mickey recognized something in me for which I will ever be grateful. His trust in me allowed me to experience things that early in my career that no one else would have. I didn't realize at the time but I do now that Mickey was a great friend to me and my family. Mickey and I kept in touch for a long time. Matter of fact the last time Mickey and I talked it was about how he could help out on the Gordy Howe Bridge. I will truly miss Mickey but I know he'll always be with me.

My Mother (Edna V. Woods) used to live by or in a house that was owned by Charlie McGee (I believe this would be senior, however I do remember her talking a lot about Charlie and Barney and about one of Charlie's horses that would chase them, Mum said the horse didn't like women. But, I wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss of Charlie, I just lost my Mum on July 3rd 2020. I came across this while doing a search of my family tree. Again, I'm sorry about your loss. Sincerely, Deborah
