I Remember...

I remember so many things about Aaron, but what I most appreciated was how he encouraged me and fellow classmates at Field Elementary school to actually PLAY the instruments in music class, an encouragement and passion that continued as an adult. He loved when people would bond over playing music. That was just one way he subtly facilitated being kind to one another, especially to those that were different, or challenged in some way. He was a friend to all, and a great listener. Aaron was one of my favorite people ever, and I was so blessed to have known him through the years. This beautiful way of being is represented by Austin in particular, and his family and friends.I am thinking of you all, and sending much love from Virginia

I loved when Aaron took out his guitar and we played Tracy Chapman songs on our porch. He showed me how to play bongos and made me believe again in Love. Aaron was a wonderful Dad for his son Austin, and a good friend to my son Filip. Sending a lot of Love to his family!

I so remembered lots of crazy good stuff with Aaron I meet him yrs ago when his dad was my boss at Seaway Gasket. I will always remember and we would laugh about it how he was driving the hilo and some how he put the folks in the building next door wall. I would see him and their over the yrs he loved his son and playing Bongos and life RIP Aaron

I remember how AB was playing with me with cars! I was very happy when he brought Austin to us and we played some games. Aaron was always a good friend and he treated me like his own son. I will never forget him.

Everyone who knew Aaron knew his love for music. I was lucky enough to have had him introduce me to music and where my deep love of music started and it was something that had always bonded us. So I wanted to share the impact it had on my life. In the third grade he gave me my first piece of music. It was a KISS record with Gene Simmons on the cover. I played it on my Fisher-Price record player and it's something I remember like it was yesterday. Then, when I was 14 he took me to my first concert. It was Lollapalooza and The Beastie Boys and Smashing Pumpkins headlined at what was then Pine Knob. He had changed my life forever because of that day and it's something I'll always be thankful for. And then in November of 2019 he went with me to see my favorite band in Cleveland and not knowing then it would be his last concert. It's amazing how life had literally come full circle. I am forever thankful that I had that opportunity to share that with him. I will cherish those memories with all my heart. He will forever be my big brother, who I always thought was the coolest person I knew. I will always love and miss him.
