Catherine was married to Steve who was my dad's cousin. My dad, George Cenkner retired to California and I would visit mom (Betty) and dad usually staying a week. Bill and I lived in Virginia so I would take a week off work and work at their house. After I retired George would want me to be their traveling companion. That is when he wanted to see Kay Bodak. (As they also lived in CA.) However it never happened with me and instead I took her phone number and would call her, at first to ask about relatives for genealogy and then just to visit and hear her happy voice. She always made me smile. She would laugh and be positive. She would have the tv on in the background watching EWTN. She would tell me the rosary is on or Mass in on, but would lower the volume so we could talk. Bill and I will miss talking to her happy voice. She was looking forward to going to heaven.

I remember how beautiful she was. Kind and funny She had an elegance about her and how much she loved my father. She Always made a point to stay in touch. Family was everything. Fly high my dear. Until we meet again. ????????????????????????
