I Remember...

I remember and always share so many funny stories about Pete because of his beautiful sense of humor. One of my favorites is starting Tae Kwon Do together with Barb and Pete. Then Pete bragging about being a white belt on the golf course. Also Barb had many wonderful smart and funny quotes from Pete that I still use today to get through certain situations. He is truly missed but was an amazing role model and human being. I am so grateful for the times we had.

I remember Driving with Uncle Pete to Polly's when I was young to grocery shop, and we would come home with my dad. Uncle Pete always had tootsie pops in the car for the drive. We will miss you Uncle Pete and Love You. You are one more Angel in Heaven to watch over us.

I remember Uncle Pete always being so supportive - I was an art major and not everyone supported that lol but he always did! he was always so upbeat and fun when we were growing up - I too remember him and his camera - he loved taking pictures - so many pictures that we never saw - I always loved teasing him about that - love him and miss him already

Uncle Pete, I remember at grandma and grandpa's house at Christmas especially and you taking all the pictures. I remember you and dad and Uncle Jerry and uncle Raymond playing Towally grandpa. I'm sure you're laughing at me right now because I don't know how to spell that. I love you and I'm going to miss you so much. Your oldest niece Debbie

There are so many things I could mention and will never forget about Pete, but one in particular would be the look on his face when, as the church announcements were being made after liturgy, it was announced by the pastor that "anyone interested in the Knights of Columbus should contact Pete Acho". His facial expression was truly priceless!

I remember your smile, optimism and strength. So many wonderful holidays and dinners together at grandpa and grandma Acho's house. I remember you always taking so many photos of all of us and enjoying our family time together, although we never got to see any:). We will miss you dearly Uncle Pete. I know you are with my mother and Uncle Ray looking down on all of us, protecting, guiding and smiling. God bless and I love you!
