Mr. Scott was always good to me. He was a character that always had that knowing smile. Couldn't get much past him. I worked for "Dick Scott" 3 times. Twice in Plymouth and once in Fowlerville. I left one time when he happened to be on a short vacation. Month's later I stopped in to say Hi and he happen to walk into the showroom. He stopped in his tracks put his arms out and broadcasted to the everyone "what do we have here" "You slumming it"!!! then he had me come to his office and told me "who did I think I was leaving while he was gone". He was hilarious. Rest in peace Mr. Scott. I am sorry I hadn't stop to say goodbye. Hugs to family.
Memories
Dick and I renewed our friendship over the last 7 or 8 years. We shared our faith and enjoyed sharing our mutual life experiences of how God's love has touched us and our families. We talked weekly this past year and we both talked with Mike Lucci in our shared friendship and how wonderful God has been to us.
I miss him already.
Dick was a huge influence on our lives, and was our true, true friend. We had some great, fun times, all over, and because of "Scottie", we also learned a little humility.
I work in the locker room doing the shoes for the members. I had the pleasure to get to know Mr. Scott and had many great conversations with him. We always had a good time and ended with a good laugh on how his golf game was going. He will be missed.
