I Remember...

When Frank purchased property down the road from us several years ago. He stopped by and introduced himself along with his family. While I didn't realize it back then, but now truly understand how fortunate we were to have Frank in our lives. What an amazing man, who will be sadly missed. My deepest sympathies to the Guidobono family.

Missed the mark speaking my gratefulness for knowing this man, larger than life. 2nd grade project was to write about a best friend, at 8 years of age I wrote about Frank and illustrated with crayons my Disneyland located on Cherimoor Lane. A place where several families were invited, enough to form baseball teams. A place where I learned how to; swim and dive, play competitive badminton, baseball and basketball. Still having the phone number memorized, which I would dial and called as little kid 13133533663; Hi Frank how are you, will you come get me? All the rides in the Suburban, Frank taking several kids to shine for deer or to go into town for ice cream, and his leading singing 'O Sole Mio', I discovered I was probably actually Italian. We would also play the 'My Father Owns a Grocery Store Game'. Decades have passed and I realize the many sacrifices Frank, Janeen and their children made so many other families have these wonderful memories. A part of me will always be 8-years old with happy memories of an enhanced childhood. Over these past few days pictured Frank sitting right next to Jesus, that's what I see. Frank is a wonderful influence on how to live life and treat others along the way. It is a sad time, thinking about Janeen and all the generations of their children.

20 yrs between my cousin Frank and I(I'm the younger one!) so he had experienced life, business and other endeavors before me. He was often giving tips on what to expect and pursue to achieve success. Praised me often for my achievements. Coming from Frank there was always a special sweetness that me me feel pride. His narratives about our parents and their generation's struggles to get and live in America were beautifully told and glued my attention. I often think that Frank was a link to the past and a stepping stone to the future my generation. A truly thoughtful, generous and dynamic man that I feel God rewarded with many blessings and longevity as reward for his path. Adrian Gaviglio December 6, 2022

I will always remember the fun times we had when Frank would take all us kids canoeing on the rifle river. Marnie and I always shared the canoe with him. He taught us so much. I taught my grandkids to play the same fun games that Frank played with us. Our family was blessed with so many great memories from Frank, Janeen and the whole family. So sorry for your loss. We will miss him so much.
