Michael Gerard Davis passed away January 11, 2020 at the age of 61. He was the devoted father of Stefanie (J.T.) Singh; beloved brother of Steven (Irina) and Brian Davis; cherished son of Geoffrey (Carol) and the late Addie Lee Davis; dear uncle of multiple nieces and nephews; and loving best friend of LaDona Baracy.

Mike was born on April 4, 1958 in Sullivan, Missouri to Geoffrey and Addie Lee Davis. He spent most of his upbringing in Michigan after his father moved for an automotive job opportunity. Mike graduated from Midland High School and went onto obtain his Associates Degree from Oakland Community College. Shortly after, he began to work as a tool and die maker for Guardian Manufacturing from which he retired after over 25 years of dedication.

Mike enjoyed racing cars, riding motorcycles, boating, shooting his guns, and all of the other outdoorsy things one could think of. He was a handyman and tinkerer, often found fixing things. Above all, Mike’s greatest joy in his life was his daughter, Stefanie. His love and influence will remain in her heart and the hearts of those that knew him.

A Memorial Visitation for Mike will be Saturday, January 18th, at 1 p.m. until the time of his Memorial Service at 3 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home – Canton Chapel, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Detroit Area, 950 Stephenson Hwy #209, Troy, MI 48083 in his name.
