Otto Koch

February 10, 1944 - October 25, 2021

Otto Koch, age 77 of Canton, passed away October 25th, 2021.

Otto was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving our country during the Vietnam War. As a mechanical engineer, he dedicated 31 years to Ford Automotive before his retirement. Otto's kind nature gained him many friends while he led an active life with various hobbies and passions. He especially loved to sail and was a talented saxophonist. He earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo as well as his pilot license, flying whenever the opportunity arose. Most of all, Otto was a loving husband and father who cherished the time spent with his dear family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was the beloved husband of Hu Ja for 49 years. Loving father of Lynn (Winston) Chueng and Jennifer (John) Grybas. Proud grandfather of Evelyn Grybas. Dear brother of Franz (Jane Beland), Anna (Tom) Summers, Jeannine Pontois and Pauline Hacker. Also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Otto will be held on Thursday, October 28th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
