Dianne M. Lilly, age 89, passed away March 4, 2023. She was born September 30, 1933 in Pontiac, Michigan to Melvin and Vera Taig.

As a devoted wife and mother, Dianne took great pride in caring for her family. She was a good cook, a great friend, and always generous with her time. A true Michigander, she loved the Great Lakes and traveling Up North with her family. She was a funny, smart, and strong woman who loved her cats dearly. An avid reader, Dianne retained much of her knowledge from the many books she read throughout the years. She was definitely someone you wanted on your Trivial Pursuit team. Above all else, Dianne adored her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. 

Dianne was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Richard Lilly. Loving mother of Lori Lilly, Jody (Brett) Overall, Susan (Don) Wylin, Resa (Don) Mai, Jim (Maureen) Lilly, and Tom Lilly. Dear grandmother of Jenna (Tom) Rickard, Josh (Lindsay) Overall, Brad (Noelle) Wylin, Dani (Eli) Fisher, Kimi (Joe) Giordano, Zac (Tori) Mai, Emilee (Kellian) LaMonda, Adam Mai, Aidan Lilly, Jaimes Lilly, Charlie Lilly, Andrew Lilly and Angela Lilly. Great-grandmother of Jordyn, Jane and Juliette Rickard, Liam Overall, Norah and Lana Wylin, Maxine Fisher, Lilith Mai, and Linus LaMonda. Dianne was predeceased by her brothers Bob and Dick Taig.

Visitation for Mrs. Lilly will be held on Wednesday, March 8th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9th, at 10:30 a.m., with gathering beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Nardin Park United Methodist Church, 29887 W. 11 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
