Margaret A. Frisk, age 93, passed away March 15, 2023. She was born June 10, 1929 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Thomas and Margaret Fairbrother.

Raised in Leamington, ON, Canada, Peggy graduated from Leamington High School and went on to attend Marygrove College and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Peggy earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. Upon graduating Peggy enlisted in the United States Army as an Officer: Achieving the rank of First Lieutenant. While in the military she was assigned to Walter Reid Army Hospital, then Fitzsimmons Army Hospital.

On July 1, 1955, Peggy married Peter Frisk, whom she had known since kindergarten. Once married they moved to Colorado until Peggy was honorably discharged from the Army. They soon made their way back to Detroit where she continued to work as a dietitian and eventually settled in West Bloomfield in 1970, where they raised their children together in a loving and nurturing home. Peter and Peggy were the perfect role models of a loving, and respectful marriage.

Peggy had a selfless and giving nature to all. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Peggy was a genuine blessing to this world and will always be remembered for the amazing woman she was.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Peter for 63 years. Loving mother of Thomas (Debora) Frisk, Shirlanne Frisk, and Patricia Quinton. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Alison, Boyd, Amanda, and Michaela. Great-grandmother of Peter and Elizabeth. Dear sister of Shirley Cassady Agnolan.

Visitation for Mrs. Frisk will be held on Friday, March 24th, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Her Committal Service will follow at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
