Jennifer Dormitorio Ambrosio, 43, of Farmington Hills, Michigan entered into eternal life on January 6, 2024, on the Solemnity of the Epiphany.

Jen was born on April 17, 1980 to Laurel and Lily Dormitorio in Dearborn, Michigan, the eldest of their two children. Jen had one brother, Keith, and was also blessed with a large extended family that included close relationships with many cousins. Jen attended Plymouth-Canton High School before earning her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Michigan.

Jen met the love of her life, Ryan Ambrosio, through mutual friends while serving as volunteer beer pourers at a charity event. Ryan soon proposed to Jen on September 8, 2012 at Assumption Grotto in Detroit and they were married on June 8, 2013 at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church in Canton.

They couldn’t wait to have a large family together, and their children were their world – Amelia, Maria Grace, Faustina, Benedict, Raphael, and Julian.

As a family they were profoundly involved in their church community at Our Lady of Sorrows as well as their school community, Regina Caeli Academy.

A huge sports fan, Jen was an ardent supporter of University of Michigan sports and the Detroit Pistons. She had a competitive spirit and loved to play games with friends and family. Ryan and Jen considered themselves bourbon aficionados and enjoyed learning more about the spirit.

She was a wife and mother, but also a loving daughter, sister, cousin, Godmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by so many.
