Harold Lawrence Smith, age 91 of Farmington Hills, passed away April 22, 2024. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Lorna (White) Smith.

Larry was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis. He practiced law in both the Grand Rapids and West Bloomfield areas for many years.

Larry is survived by his partner, Marianne Laug. His daughters, Donna (Gordon) Galloway and Sandy Smith. Grandchildren, Michael Ann Smith and Lorna Galloway. Brother, James Smith. Stepchildren, Michelle (Kent Frank) Visser, Dana Visser, Rochelle Visser and Barrie (Kendra) Lincourt. Step-grandchildren, Jared and Sydney Visser, and Olivia, Julia, and Alexandria Lincourt. Larry was predeceased by his parents and his son, Lawrence Smith.
