Peter G. Goode, age 90 of Canton, passed away June 12, 2024.

Peter was the beloved husband of the late Maureen for 64 years. Loving father of Mary (Dan) Hughes, Barbara (Keith) Pinter and Eileen Goode. Proud Poppa of Katie (Anthony) Bruno, Meeghan Hughes, Lauren Pinter and Allison Pinter. Great-Poppa of Brady, Aiden and Austin. Peter is also survived by his beloved granddogs Izzy, Kane and Bubba.

Visitation for Peter will be held on Monday, June 17th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an evening prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. He will lie in state on Tuesday, June 18th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peter’s honor are appreciated to The American Legion Department of Michigan Veteran Service Division to support local veterans.
