Elaine Marie Mimikos, age 70, passed away May 22, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Edward Mimikos. Loving mother of Claire (Chris) Phillips, Nicole (Toby) Reed, and Stephanie (Barrett) Wimer.  Sister to Lori (Bob) Steinberger and Joe (Denise) Busch. Elaine was preceded in death by her father Joe Busch (June 2009), mother Lois Busch (March 2022) and brother Greg Busch (August 2024). She will continue to be loved by 9 grandchildren, Thalia, Stella, Zoe, Quinn, Titus, Demario, Giovanni, Alex, Apollo as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Elaine was born in Detroit, Michigan. She had a passion for her family, knitting, helping people, traveling and reading. Elaine was a pharmacist who worked in retail stores and the Veterans Hospital outpatient clinic in New Mexico. Her love and devotion were her kids, sons-in-law and her grandchildren. Elaine also loved and served her churches - St. John Vianney in Michigan and The Community Church in Babcock Ranch, Florida.

Visitation for Elaine will be held on Thursday May 29th, 2025, from 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 West Twelve Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, Michigan 48334. Her funeral service will be held on Friday May 30th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. at the funeral home.
