Anthony ‘Tony’ LiPare passed away October 8, 2025 at the age of 79.

Tony was the loving husband of the late Lisbeth for 47 years; devoted father of Teresa (Russ) Johnston; cherished grandfather of Katie; caring brother of James (Liz) LiPare and brother-in-law of Cindy Yates (Steve) and the late Carole Wolf (Eric Meister); and dear uncle of Marcy, Jane, and Dena LiPare and Kimberly and Daniel (Maddie) Meister.

Tony retired from EDS as a computer programmer after several years of dedication. He owned a DJ and Karaoke business in which he was able to work closely with his wife, Lisbeth. Tony loved all Detroit sports teams and was an avid Tigers fan. He also loved to golf, spending time on the golf course whenever he was able. Tony lived the last two years of his life with his daughter Teresa and her family, creating memories and devoting his time with his beloved granddaughter, Katie. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.

Tony’s Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, October 13th, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home – Farmington Hills Chapel, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are appreciated to the Dementia Society of America in Tony’s name.
