Hsing Hsueh Pin Tao, of Madison Heights, MI, died on October 31, 2025. She was 100 years old.

She is survived by her children, Ching Pei and Ching Chieh, and her six grandchildren, Jon, Julia, Ying Ying, Audrey, Steven and Jeremy.

Hsueh Pin was born in Hei Long Jiang, China, and moved to Taiwan with her husband Young Lin in 1949. While she was there, she worked as a nurse and became a mother to Ching Yuan, Ching Po, Ching Pei and Ching Chieh. She moved to Michigan in 1997.

Hsueh Pin was a lifelong, gifted painter, artist and decorated cook. She leaves behind a home filled with homemade crafts, paintings of her own creation and a cooking trophy conferred by Wayne State University.

In death she is reunited with her parents, Young Lin, and her two sons, Ching Yuan and Ching Po. Those who knew her hope that the reunion takes place over a bowl of ice cream, which she loved.

Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home.
