Thaddeus R. Bonkowski, age 93 of Canton, passed away December 23, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen for 68 years. Loving father of Greg (Marie), Tina (Jeff) Mongrain, Colleen, Terry Whitens, Ruth (Mark) Bastianelli, and Glenn (Cindy). Proud grandfather of Stephanie, Wayne, Justin, Rachel, Taylor, Lauren, Pierce, and Keeley.

Ted will lie in state on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton. He will be laid to rest in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ted's name can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Michigan Humane Society.
