A proud graduate of Sterling Heights Stevenson High School, Shelly was a dedicated student and a competitive swimmer during her school years. Her passion for learning led her to pursue higher education at Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Her academic achievements reflected her determination and intellect—qualities that would define much of her life.

Shelly shared a loving marriage with her husband, Ken Weaver. Together they built a life filled with laughter, companionship, and mutual support. She was also deeply connected to her family. She delighted in attending art fairs and local festivals, always eager to explore creativity in all its forms. Whether binge-watching the latest shows or spending time with friends around a fire or near the water, Shelly embraced life's simple pleasures with enthusiasm.

Her greatest joy came from being a devoted “mama” to her beloved four-legged companions. Her nurturing heart extended fully to her fur babies, who were cherished members of the family.
