Patricia Ann Kelly

February 21, 1939 - February 2, 2026

Patricia Ann Kelly, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Pat was born on February 21, 1939 in Zanesville, Ohio. Pat's warm presence and caring nature left an undeniable mark on all who knew her. Pat met and married Mark Kelly, during her studies at the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1961. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed twin daughters, Erinn and Blair. Incredibly, Mark and Pat remained married for 63 years and argued for most of those years, it was their love language. Throughout her life, Pat has had many roles and passions. She was a loving and supportive mother. She was a friend and caretaker to all living creatures. She was an accomplished artist and business owner. In her final chapter she was an antique dealer and restorer.

Pat’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her compassion for all life as well as her love of family will be her legacy. Her menagerie of animals included a Rooster name Cheyenne, a Canadian Goose, many orphaned wild birds, a dwarf groundhog, a disabled bluejay and rabbit, a dozen turtles and a pair of goldfish named Elizabeth and Philip (smuggled across the pond in her purse on a flight home from England). And of course, she has had countless cats and dogs, all of whom she rescued. She will be remembered as a champion for her furried and feathered friends.

Pat is survived by her husband Mark and her daughters, Erinn and Blair and husband Bob. She leaves behind four cherished grandchildren; Michael, William, Ben and Sami. Her brother, Tommy Griffith and his wife Cindy. She also leaves behind four lovely cats who will miss her terribly. She was their world.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Robert Griffith and her brother Michael Griffith.

As we say goodbye to Patricia Ann Kelly, we celebrate the life of a woman who was a kind, devoted and exceptionally talented. Pat’s memory will be treasured forever, as we hold her close in our hearts and remember the light she brought into the world.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Patricia will be held Friday, February 6th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home - Farmington Hills Chapel, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will be laid to rest in Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patricia's name may be directed to Shelter to Home,  266 Oak Street, Wyandotte, MI 48192.
