He attended high school at The Rayen School, graduating in 1973. He earned a Bachelors degree in Finance with honors from Youngstown State University in 1977.

After college graduation, Tony developed an interest in analyzing stock market trends and became an enthusiastic day trader until his death.  He was also the self-described inventor of the Steam Valet and worked passionately over the years to bring his product to market.

Tony worked as a Financial Analyst for Detroit Edison (now DTE Energy) for over 20 years. After his retirement, he went back to work as a Business Growth Manager for the Center for Economic Empowerment & Development (CEED), a non-profit organization. He attended Triumph Church in Canton, MI and was a former leader of the Business Ministry.

Tony is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia; three brothers, Terry (Karen), Brian (Angela) and Kevin (Veronica) and one sister, April Stubbs; and a host of other family members, friends and neighbors whose lives he touched.  Tony was preceded in death by his parents.

He will be remembered for his love of barbeque ribs, Motown music, and as an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan Wolverines football and basketball.

Tony was a pillar of strength, support and protector of family. Always available to offer guidance, business advice, love and a hearty laugh.  At the time of his death, he served as President of the Detroit chapter of the New Generation Family Club. He cherished family gatherings and his presence at family reunions throughout the years brought warmth and joy to those around him.
