Manuel A. Balatico

August 6, 1943 - February 21, 2026

Manuel A. Balatico, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026 at the age of 82.

Born on August 6, 1943, in Lallo, Cagayan, Philippines, Manuel lived a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys that meant the most. He shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Rosalind, and was a proud and supportive father to his two daughters, Aileen and Heidi. Nothing brought him greater happiness than being “Papa” to his four grandchildren, who will always remember his warmth, encouragement, and steady presence.

He worked at Chrysler and retired in 2007, where he dedicated many years of service and built lasting friendships.

Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, playing the guitar, singing, and surrounding himself with music. He found peace in gardening and took pride in caring for his yard and home. Whether on the golf course, with a guitar in hand, or spending time with family, he embraced life with gratitude and quiet joy.

He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and deep love for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Manuel is survived by his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, and siblings, brothers and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Manuel will be held on Thursday, February 26th, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a 6:00 pm Novena and Eulogy Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. He will lie in state on Friday, February 27th, at 10:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Rd., Canton.
