James M. Glinski, age 93 of Canton, passed away February 8, 2026. He was born October 22, 1932 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Mark and Betty Glinski.

A 1956 graduate of Assumption University of Windsor, Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He worked as a chemist for Chrysler Automotive in Trenton, Michigan until his retirement at the age of 58.

Alongside his successful career as a chemist, Jim looked forward to his downtime, with boating and playing golf. After his retirement, Jim and Dolores packed their bags and headed to Las Vegas. Their days were enjoyed with trips to the casino and traveling. In 2021, they made their way back to Canton, Michigan, where they resided at the time of Jim’s passing.

James was the beloved husband of Dolores for 72 years. Loving father of Janet (James) Perry and the late Cheryl (the late Robert) Breil. Grandfather of Mark (Holly) Simkow, Megan Glinski, Melanie (Keith) Libra, the late Kristin McDonough, and the late Andrea Breil. Great-grandfather of six. Twin-brother of the late William (Kathleen) Glenn and brother of Dr. Ronald (the late Roseleen) Glinski.
