Timothy C. Sullivan, age 69 of Farmington Hills, passed away April 1, 2026. He was born March 12, 1957 in Buffalo, NY to Walter and Jane Sullivan.

The ninth of eleven children, Tim and his siblings answered to the ring of a bell when it came time for dinner. Raised in a traditional Irish Catholic family, the Sullivans were deeply rooted in faith, love, and principle. With a lively home came endless activities, and Tim decided to focus on sports, keeping his pace playing hockey and baseball. He graduated from Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores and went on to study at Lake Superior State University, where he gained both a degree and his future wife.

In July of 1981, Tim married Julie Saha in St. Michael Catholic Church in Pinconning. The two began their married life together in Grand Rapids when Tim took a job with Lear Siegler. They went on to raise four children, blessed with a household dedicated to family and the Lord. Tim’s love of sports continued, and he was always excited to coach his kids throughout their athletic endeavors. He worked hard to provide for his family in every aspect. From securing their Catholic education to taking care of endless hockey expenses, Tim made sure his children didn’t want for anything.

Besides his passion for sports, Tim loved nature and spending time outdoors, especially his trips to Wilderness State Park. He was outgoing and up for anything, as long as he was surrounded by those he loved. If he gave you a hard time with his lighthearted teasing, you knew he truly cared for you. With his affection extending to his many nieces and nephews, Tim was definitely the fun uncle. His spunky spirit was unmatched, and he was able to make the most wonderful memories with anyone he encountered. He will be missed beyond what words can describe.

Tim was the beloved husband of Julie for 44 years. Loving father of Shannon (Aaron) Jameson, Ryan (Christine), Dylan (Samantha), Brendan (Bianca), and Colanne (Jesse) Holmes. Proud grandfather of Finn, Lydia, Kian, Alex, Bella, Olivia, and Ziggy. Dear brother of the late Brian (the late Carol), the late Charles (Laura), Margaret (Frank) Blanch, Kathy Petritz, Jane Sullivan, Maureen (Diane), James (Kathy), Ellen (Andres) Garcia, Lori (Tony) Guzal, and Mary Beth Sullivan. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Tim will be held on Tuesday, April 7th, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service, at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state on Wednesday, April 8th, at 10:30 a.m., until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills. Following the Funeral Mass, Tim will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
