Patricia Ann Ball-Wozniak

November 26, 1953 - April 26, 2026

Patricia Ann Ball-Wozniak passed away in Bradenton, Florida on April 26th, 2026.

Patricia was born in Dearborn, Michigan on November 26th, 1953. Her family instilled her with a strong work ethic and a deep faith in God. That faith sustained her through life’s challenges and was reflected in the way she cared for others - with patience, kindness, and a generous spirit.

Patricia attended Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn where she excelled academically and was captain of the girls’ field hockey team. She went on to study nursing at Henry Ford Community College, where she met the love of her life, Peter. She would eventually go on to receive her master’s degree in nursing. Patricia started her journey of service in patient care working as a nurse at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She served in many different roles for over four decades in healthcare, eventually becoming a Chief Quality Officer for CHS and received the Chairman’s Award for outstanding performance in hospital quality. Most recently, she also served as a Joint Commission Surveyor, helping ensure the highest standards of care for patients and families. In every role, she treated those in her care with dignity and respect, seeing her work not just as a profession, but as a calling.

Away from work, Patricia’s pride and joy was her immediate and extended family. She shared 47 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Peter - a partnership built on faith, love and support. She was a dedicated mother to her son, David. She was always generous with her time and was happy to mentor and strategize with those closest to her.

She had a keen eye for detail and loved to make things beautiful. She had a passion for her home and was always working on a new interior design or landscaping project. From birthday parties to showers or weddings, she loved to plan events and knew how to make an occasion special and memorable.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Peter; her son David (Sarah); her sister Susan (John) Ball-Kell; her Aunt Eileen Yost. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Carol Ball.

While her loss is deeply felt, her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she is now at peace in God’s presence. Her legacy of faith, strength, and love will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
